A local Surrey used car dealership approached us with a request to make a pair of bespoke office car chairs. They had two two Mini Cooper Car Seats which they wanted to be transformed into fully operational office seats.
We were provided with the Mini Cooper car seats and the bases from an adjustable office chair. We fabricated an adaptor plate from mild steel box section, which was attached to the underside of the car seat.
Additionally, we turned some solid aluminum on our lathe to create four spaces to provide additional clearance under the desk.
The metal work was finished in matt black acrylic paint.
The end result was a one of a kind, fully adjustable Mini Cooper office car chair.
